We introduce our research project, "Informationalization and Religion: A Study Focused on Computer-Mediated Communication" (April 1998 -- March 2001) in the Institute for Japanese Culture and Classics, Kokugakuin University, and the research, "The Expansion of the Computer Networks and the Change of Religious Acts" (April 1998 -- March 2000), sponsored by the Telecommunications Advancement Foundation.
